Historicon Day One so far...

Historicon 2015 - we arrived in Fredericksburg yesterday around 4pm after about a seven hour drive. Interstate 95 continues its reign as worst interstate in all of America. A hearty congratulations I-95!

With some prodding from my son I decided to bring most of Fords Canyon - my old west town for Dead Man's Hand - to Historicon for the open gaming on Wednesday night. While starting to attempt to pack, I very quickly realized how much effort and planning it was going to take to make this happen - well, properly anyway! I have a newfound appreciation to everyone and anyone who has ever brought/run a game to a convention. Hats off!

Thursday is nice because games start at 10am - Friday and Saturday games start at 8am. Registration is always full and everyone is usually arriving Thursday, so it's nice that it gives you a chance to ease into the day. It's also nice to see so many familiar faces as well.

I'll make this post short and let the pictures tell the story!

As always, thanks for looking!

*and I absolutely love the fact that with my new phone, I'm able to make this post from the main room floor!*
